Madelaine Ginsberg is an abstract painter currently residing in Florida. Her love of art began as a budding artist in her childhood. She went on to study at the renowned Art Students League of New York, the American Art School, and the Silvermine College of Art.
She began her career as a graphic designer and fashion illustrator. She joined the faculty of the Stamford Museum in Connecticut in 1970, becoming the museum’s Assistant Director of Art in 1977, before leaving in 1990.
Through her membership in several prestigious art organizations, including the Petticoat Painters, one of the longest running organizations for women artists in the United States, Madelaine has exhibited in numerous juried shows.
She is also a member of the Women Contemporary Artists, and a long-time member of the National League of American Pen Women, the oldest interdisciplinary arts organization for women, founded 124 years ago.
Her paintings hang in private, corporate, and museum collections throughout the country
Madelaine earned her B.A. and an M.S. from the University of Bridgeport, in Connecticut. Her additional studies included graduate training in art therapy from the College of New Rochelle, NY.
